"The human spirit needs places where nature has not been rearranged by the hand of man." - Unknown.
In the era of self-reflection and accelerated evolutionary change, I feel it is important to seek clarity in spaces that allow the soul to breathe - even for just a moment.
A cosy wooden oasis perched between mountains as far as the eye can follow. I sink straight into the undeniable pull of nature we all crave. Light leaked between trees as I indulged in endless supplies of warm chai and pages of wise words.
Nights wrapped in linen under the stars drifting into a deep slumber after a charcoal roast dinner on the fire, expanding my gratitude for the simple things.
With the sun and sweet melodies from the birds as my only alarm clock each morning, I’m reminded and inspired to hit the refresh button on a lot of areas in my life.
To do things that allow room to cultivate a sense of peace and freedom in this human experience, both internally and externally.
It is said that the energy in which we walk around with undoubtedly shapes and creates the foundation of our lives. In a time where people seem to be measuring their days by degree of productivity, places like this allow me to slow down and instead measure them by degree of presence.
A space that lingers as a constant joyful daydream as I now sit at my office desk, inspired to build my own little slice of heaven. But until then, I shall return as often as possible to the little cabin off grid, which reminds me to breathe and just be here, now.
The end.
