It doesn’t typically follow that you head to the nation’s capital in search of gold, but this isn’t your typical trip to Canberra. We stumbled onto Pascal and Rani on a road trip somewhere South of where we came from and North of where we were going, which is to say we were kind of lost, but mostly it was intentional.

Rumour has it this was once a gold mining region, where down-on-their-luck lads and ladies would come from all over in search of something that could change their life. We also arrived searching for nuggets, but instead of precious metal, we were hunting for wisdom. Instead, we just stared at the fire for ages, drank wine and looked at the stars. You could say it’s the same thing.

Hopefully you’ll find something priceless out here too. Time to yourself could be it. Or maybe it’s that realisation that you’re on land that is bigger than you, older than you and will exist for many years after you’re gone. Whatever it is you discover during your expedition, we know it’ll be something truly golden.
