Sometimes you need a break from the break. Sometimes you need to get your pilgrim on, getting away from the worries and expectations of the world and and back towards yourself. And sometimes you just need to wander to wonder, to travel and tap into that creative power of new spaces and the wisdom of the trees. That's what our new sanctuaries are all about - further from the city, but closer to our souls, a space for us all to reconnect with what matter's most, when we need it most - wherever that may be.

Ashi and Pana are our first further-afield ducklings out in the wild, around 1hr from Byron Bay tucked into a bushland realm with no sounds but the birds and wind in the trees and the feeling of water on your feet while you sip down a cold one and slowly start to understand why folks call it “a vibe”.

“Ashi introduced herself as our cousin, which it's possible she was but we never really questioned it. You could always find her marching to the beat of her own drum, usually out in nature in field and forests of green. She maintained she found peace among the plants, where she could hear the sounds of nature. It turns out we'd been listening to the wrong frequency. We're all for free spirited family like Ashi.” - S.E. Sydney.

“We ran into Pana on a Mediterranean island so tiny it hadn't even been given a name yet. He'd been working the 'perfect job' after busting his arse through uni, but a a brief Euro trip had changed his life forever. After a chance meeting with a Greek monk, Pana had decided to chuck it all in and live and work off the land. Not all heroes wear capes.” - A.W. Melbourne.

All our hideouts are named after people we or our folks from our community have met on their travels, people who are just unyoked plain and simple. Free spirits who’ve turned their backs on the expectations of the world, headed towards nature, and are living life their own way - spirit animals on the quest to help us all free ourselves temporarily from the demands of modern life, their characters are built into everything we do. Ashi and Pana are no different. Wander up to Byron, come get unyoked and bring a bit of them back with you.
